Review of RV (2006) by Trisha W — 24 Jan 2009
A cute movie to watch with a bunch of kids that love the stupid humor. However, I personally didn't find the movie all that entertaining. I was laughing more at the innocence of the children laughing around me.
And the first half of the movie was definitely better, probably because it was funny without the moral of the story creeping up. Starring Robin Williams, I expected more though. When he plays in family roles, he has to control himself, but I still didn't find his role as great as it usually is.
The end of the story was predictable, but it still had the remnants of a warm fuzzy feeling where he does the right thing that is good for everyone (except the evil boss that no one wanted to win anyways).
It was a decent movie, but not something that I'll care to watch again.
