Review of RV (2006) by Forrest P — 06 Jan 2010
RV has two poor qualities. The first is that this is one of those "comedies" that is blissfully unfunny, in spite of all the attempts at humor from Robin Williams. And it is also cliched to the point of embarassment. The family was cliched, the jokes were cliched, the direction was cliched. The movie did get a couple laughs, but that's it.
The other awful quality of RV is that it is completely forgettable. I saw it a year ago and I never thought about it again until I happened to come across it in a filmography of Robin Williams. I said "Oh yeah! That movie! It was terrible, but I forgot it even existed.".
And that's RV. Unfunny, cliched, annoying, mediocre, and completely forgettable.
Yep. That's pretty much it.
2/10.
