Review of Ruthless People (1986) by Michael T — 15 May 2009
There are maybe three or four laughs to be had by this seemingly "classic" 80's comedy. The rest is pretty silly with most of the jokes telegraphed like a Brett Favre interception. Mostly, it's just silly, which is too bad because there are some interesting twists involved that are virtually neutered by the rest of the film.
But if you want to see a prime example of 80's excess in fashion and design, this is your movie.
