Barbara Stone (Bette Midler) finds herself the victim of a kidnapping, but when her wealthy husband Sam Stone (Danny DeVito) refuses to pay the ransom, then suddenly the whole gameplan changes. An hilarious rollercoster ride from beginning to end and filled with top notch performances (Midler & DeVito are on fire), it's not hard to see why this film is regarded as one of the funniest comedies of the 80's.
Well worth checking out.....
