I enjoyed the movie, loved the acting, the 50's setting and the main plot basis, it did go overboard on some plot premises but that's to be expected of filmmakers. On further research I found it to be a fictionalized account of real events!!! In fact, the parts I had found interesting and entertaining were based on real events, the parts I found to be loose ends of the story and going overboard were made up by the filmmakers. Just shows when the real story is sensational by itself they didn't have to add further masala to it.

Trivia: This is the case due to which Jury System was abolished in India.
