Review of Rust and Bone (2012) by Oren S — 24 Dec 2012
Subtle, effective, and thoughtful melodrama about two very different but very lonely people finding one another amidst a sea of impossible circumstances and a world that is against them. It's a beautiful story about the triumph of the human spirit but without ever getting too hokey or over the top.
Anchored by two great lead performances, in particular Marion Cotillard who is absolutely stellar.
