Audiards follow up to the excellent The Prophet is a story about a relationship between a man trying to make do in a cruel world of bare knuckle boxing and a woman who's life is forever altered by a horrible accident.
Unfortunetaly this lacks focus and even though the feel is very naturalistic you'll get the feeling of overuse of violence and nudity. Cotilard and Schoenaerts give brave and trophy worthy performances as people who are not perfect but flawed even after life changing events.
Could have been something special but now its just OK.
