I am always so grateful that French cinema differs so greatly from American....They have a completely different sensibility. In this movie the man is a sheer brute with a little bit of heart. He has dragged his son through hell and back, with selfish motivations.
Ali and Stephanie both intrigued me. I was routing for them the entire time.
