Review of Rust and Bone (2012) by Dustin I — 18 Jul 2013
Great ending and conclusion brings my rating to 4 stars. The male character is real and believable but not Cotillard's and not because she doesn't play it well but because the character suddenly becomes a martyrdom for a-hole behaviour that this guy displays for most of the film.
It would have been much richer to see the vulnerabilities of both sexes throughout and not just the end.
