Review of Russian Dolls (2005) by Drew R — 16 Jan 2008
Cedric klapisch had a tough job in making this sequel and I must say he did a great job! having left us off where xavier decides to be a writer, the film starts with xavier struggling to make a living by tv scriptwriting and being a ghost author (not what we wouldve imagined). although this film had a mildly slow start where xavier's love interest doesnt make a proper appearance till the middle of the movie, I must say it had a natural progression of consequences leading to their meet! even the kids xavier was living with were finally reunited towards the end of the film!
This made sense with the way things were moving and it made the film even more realistic. needless to say, I was blown apart by the film and cant wait for the 3rd to come out!
Memorable moment: william's arrival in paris.
