[Les Poupées Russes] is the sequel of [L' Auberge Espagnole]. Almost all the characters in the latter one still appear in this film- only this time it is the mere story of Romain Duris' Xavier and exploring his come to the 30s life- love life specifically.
[Russian Dolls], however, somehow loses the sparkling magic the previous one had- and the plot itself seems burdensome as well. Still, the film is partially interesting on certain points.
