Visually stunning but ultimately boring.
I am familiar with Russian history and I am a film student, but I got little out of this.
To film this all in one shot must have required incredible planning that I can't even imagine. It's a shame more time couldn't have been spent on the writing.
The "main" character who the unseen "filmmaker" follows around was creepy & irritating. A more interesting figure should have been created for the audience to follow.
I need than great production design to enjoy a FEATURE film. Shorts films are another matter.
