Review of Rushmore (1998) by Colm M — 16 Apr 2011
A very pleasant suprise. Teenage problems given adult respect. I remember being told when I was younger that adult challenges were bigger than childhood challenges. I never believed this to be true back then and I still don't now.
This great little movie puts adult and childrens issues on the same playing field and with great performances and a brilliant script Wes Anderson pulls it off brilliantly. This is my intorduction to his work and I now look forward to catching up with the rest of his movies.
