Really terribly good, Rushmore is another basic film relying on acting and drama with an emphasis on thatrics for a genre in Drama often left for dead:).
As with a lot of pictures Bill Murray is in, the comedy value is there though looking for it and wiping that stupid enjoyment off your face may be a cognitive affair of your own, for most it will be in the making with this one. Like drama`s love for satire so will you.
Got to mention Olivia Williams is so heart throb gorgeous ..."it`s NOT funny".
