Review of Rushmore (1998) by Monique S — 05 Aug 2010
Max Fisher is one of the most interesting fictional characters I've ever encountered in all my eighteen years. I adore him.
This is my favorite Anderson film. What I like about his movies is that the humor is very subtle and dry. The other thing I like is that there are moments when dialogue is scarce and the characters communicate merely by exchanging scorching, meaningful looks. You would not expect it, but it works spectacularly. I think so, at least.
