Review of Rushmore (1998) by Derek Schwartz D — 25 Jan 2012
One of the most clever films I have ever seen. My "Favorite film writers list" is now a violent clash between the Wilson/Anderson writing team and Woody Allen. Jason Schwartzman (my favorite actor) gives my favorite performance as Max Fischer, and he was just 18 while doing so (gives a young actor hope.
) But all in all Bill Murray deserved a flippin' Oscar, and Wes and Owen deserved best screenplay, plain and simple. Brilliant film all around.
