Review of Rush Hour 2 (2001) by Paul D — 03 Jan 2011
A little bit better than Rush Hour 1. Once again Jackie`s and Tucker`s chemistry worked in good way. The script is simple and the save but the movie is full of action and comedy, also the drama. Chris Tucker is still annoying but he has some moments to acting and of course imitating Michael Jackson scene, that dancing and singing number was very good and fitted into the movie.
Chan`s English skills always got a huge attention when the critics wrote about him but who cares if the role is like that he come to the visiting, not staying? He did a decent job but there is not much improved about his performance. The fight scenes were good and the choreography made sure that also American actors (example Tucker) looked cool.
Ziy Zhang`s role was a bit useless and stereotyped but her role was a bad girl who can fight.
