It's not necessarily the fact that it's more entertaining that makes this sequel a little better than its predecessor. It's more the fact that Rush Hour 2 is more comfortable in being exactly what it seeks out to be and lets the chemistry between Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker play out a little more.
Add to the mix the same kind of creative daredevil martial arts stunts and you got yourself a nicely packaged cop buddy movie.
