Review of Rush Hour (1998) by Patrick K — 28 Jun 2010
Jackie Chan + Chris Tucker = action comedy gold!!! I'm not the biggest Chris Tucker fan but he just works so well in this film. And Chan just IS action comedy. Not since Beverly Hills Cop or Lethal Weapon have we seen such great back and forth as was portrayed by these two.
Perhaps 2 cops are the key ingredients to good action comedy... or maybe you just need two actors who can work off each other well enough and these two guys have that.
