Review of Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage (2010) by Ian G — 10 May 2010
Great doc focusing on the greatest mainstream cult band of all time rush from the Canadian Doc filmmakers who brought us Metal a headbangers journey and Gobal Metal. Insightful into what makes the trio work, the lifelong friendship between Lee and the lead guitarest as well as exploring the profiecientcy along with the extreme intelligence and worchip thrown upon drummer Neil Peart.
If you arent a fan of the band going in, you will more than likely come out of the film with a deper appreciation of them. A solid hit from the Tribeca and Hot Docs film fests.
