Review of Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage (2010) by Omar G — 09 Jul 2010
Not because I'm a rabid fan of Canada's powerful trio, but because I'm also a rabid fan of filmmaking, this documentary has got to be one of the best music documentaries ever made. Our monster musicians at the heart of this documentary reveal to us their own personal stories and the history of one of the most underrated bands of all time - all from their humble beginnings in Toronto to the present time.
For the Rush fans, you will certainly not be disappointed in terms of the music repertoire inside this film, and probably you will find out one or two things about Geddy, Alex and Neil that you did not in the past.
Enjoy it to the maximum, and guys, see you on Saturday July 24th at Jones Beach. RUSH ROCKS!!!!!
