Review of Rush (2013) by Kirby P — 28 Oct 2015
Two complaints: First, the racing action wasn't very realistic; at times it seemed more akin to cars on the freeway passing one another. Second, the post-accident scarring of Niki Lauda's face was not depicted anywhere near as dramatic and startling as it was in real life.
The actor barely looked any different than pre-accident, whereas the real Niki Lauda was a walking testament to the inherent dangers of auto racing. Other than those issues, though, this was a very good movie and well worth watching.
