Review of Running with Scissors (2006) by Ken D — 12 Aug 2008
Probably the most recent addition to my top ten movies of all time. Based on the writer/co-producer's bizarre childhood, the film is supposedly a happier/friendlier version of the book from which it is drawn.
Nevertheless, the experiences will shock and entertain. Beautifully tied together with an awesome soundtrack and brilliant acting, I could watch this movie 100 times. The screenplay is a never-ending series of memorable quotes.
The tagline reads "Ever have one of those lives?" I did, which may be why I love this movie so much.
