Review of Running with Scissors (2006) by Chris B — 29 Apr 2008
This movie started out slow and I had a hard time staying focused, but ended up pretty good towards the middle and end. I liked the dark humor and the acting was solid. Annette Benning, Joseph Cross and Joseph Fiennes (from Enemy at the Gates wow!) were great.
This movie is a showing of how messed up life can really be and how it can still be hopeful in the end. If this is recollection of Augusten's life, then Bravo. bravo.
