Review of Running with Scissors (2006) by Kris M — 12 Aug 2008
Disconnected, terribly paced and almost laughably tiresome. There are little moments in this movie that are flawless but the time between them makes for a bumpy ride. The message of this movie is misconstrued and often lost- both literally as well as just lost on the audience.
Annette Bening shines as always but even her talent couldn't salvage a movie that just didn't know what it wanted to be.
