This movie was exhausting to watch. I'm sure that the book was fine but it did not translate well to film.

The quirkiness of the characters and the situation could have been much better utilized. The words dull, boring and uninteresting come to mind and that doesn't seem right given the material the filmmakers had to work with. There are so many themes that could have really been explored but, for whatever reason, the film doesn't go very deep.

This film lacked humour, it lacked edgeyness, it lacked any basic reason to watch it.
