Review of Runner Runner (2013) by Armando B — 18 May 2014
It's a decent enough concept, but the script is terrible and the whole thing comes across terribly boring. Ben Affleck has fun playing a villain but Justin Timberlake is woeful, The Social Network aside, the singer-turned-actor struggles to make any kind of presence onscreen and can't seem to bring the characters he plays to life, and it's never been more evident here.
