Review of Runaway Jury (2003) by Matt W — 05 Apr 2009
This movie just feels too "Hollywoodized." The elements are there for a gripping drama/thriller, but most details are glossed over for slick (and annoying) camerawork and manipulative storytelling.
But the biggest flaw is the utter preposterance of the story. I did relish the lengthy scene between legends, and revealed on the DVD as former roommates in late 1950's New York, Gene Hackman and Dustin Hoffman.
