Review of Runaway Bride (1999) by Sterling R — 26 Feb 2011
I'm growing tired of this movie and Julia Roberts, I think I may be affected by the fact that I have seen this movie way too many times on TV.
The story is fairly simple and not unheard of. A guy and a gal do not like each other but lo' and behold a spark develops between them. And, spoiler, they end up together.
Despite this basic pattern and added cliche points for having the lead be portrayed by Gere and Roberts, it was entertaining to follow and they did give a nice little peek in the psyche of the character Roberts played.
