Review of Run Silent, Run Deep (1958) by Pete H — 31 May 2007
Wow. Like De Niroand Pacino in Heat, putting these two actors in a movie guarantees sparks. Gable and Lancaster chew the scenery out from under each other's feet. This tends to be unfairly forgotten.
A pity, it's a truly great movie that never once lets up the tension and has you gripped from beginning to end.
