Review of Run Lola Run (1998) by Ifiok O — 03 Jul 2010
It's a movie that asks it's main character, 'How far are willing to go for the one you love?'--both literally and figuratively. Lola herself goes a great distance for her beloved, and we see certain scenarios literally play themselves out.
Her choices also affect not just her life, but the lives of other people, having a 'butterfly effect' for both strangers and those she knows. This is done sort of like an awesome music video from the 1990s, and I actually think the film's music adds the sort of energy needed to drive this story.
