Review of Run Lola Run (1998) by Akash S — 25 Aug 2012
A simple thriller with an interesting albeit familiar twist. Furious pacing with a relentless video-game-like soundtrack and fast cut editing. The Hemingway-like vignettes of the brief encounters are quite odd, as the diversity of potential outcomes seems overly wide.
There is an English audio track on the DVD, but it looks and sounds really artificial - go with the German audio and sub-titles if needed.
