With its simple setup, clever storytelling, high energy, and terrific style, this is a magnificent film that is often overlooked. It is my favorite foreign film, just a hair or two above Amelie. But unlike Amelie, most people have never seen or even heard of this film. But they should. It's hilariously fun. Screw Mary Jane Watson, this is the best Red Head in film!
Also, as a little bonus, if you watch this movie, you will see its effects ion the films of Edgar Wright.
