Review of Run Fatboy Run (2007) by Abel G — 05 Dec 2009
Dennis ran away from his wedding and his pregnant wife only to discover that all he wants is to win her back. Will he be able to prove t her that he can be responsible and follow through?
I expected this movie to be more pathetic than it turned out to be. Sure, the ending isn't the best cookie of the lot since it's very cliché and predictable, but since I adore both Simon Pegg and Dylan Moran (who both does a marvelous job, especially Dylan Moran), I loved it very much anyway. I just have so say once again how much I love Dylan Moran. I love Dylan Moran.
Simon Pegg was, as usual when it come to these smaller films, included in the writing of the manuscript which made the part of Dennis suit him perfectly. Sure, it's no Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz but then, it's David Schwimmer directing and not Edgar Wright.
