A remake ofâ? Run, Lola Runâ?? They must be running out of ideas. No, thank you. I pass.
I chance upon this dvd a few years later and realized my previous mistake. Rest assured that this UK- made movie is not a by-product. Credited as a romantic comedy, it is more comedic than romantic. The few gags provided mainly by Simon Pegg actually give me chuckles.
Romantic comedy is designed to make us feel good so a happy ending is inevitable, or expectable. However the finale here is not contrived and is being handled in a subtle manner that it is very pleasant.
