Review of Run All Night (2015) by Scott A — 13 Mar 2015
A great crime thriller movie. I feel like the trailer is a bit misleading as though it is meant to be Taken 5: Taken Resurrection... It's not at all, this is a slow burn thriller about a man who has lost everything but will spend one night doing what he can to remedy that.
The acting of course is top notch and Joel Kinnaman is continuously solidifying himself as a star. At times the film was a little dragging but when I look back I wouldn't have cut the scenes out because they were needed.
On top of that the action is incredibly filmed and the cinematography kept me intrigued. I absolutely advise you see this on the big screen if you are a fan of Neeson movies because this one is another strong entry.
His films are a great escape for me and something I always look forward to and this one gave me that escape again.
