This may be Jennifer Aniston's best performance. Of the few I have seen it is certainly the best movie she has been in. There is a difference.
Yes there is much allusion to The Graduate a movie from my high school dating days. Is the movie based on truth? I never thought about the possibility of that, making it based on a book that is supposed to be autobiographical. That reminds me of Summer of '42. That later movie is certainly framed as being true, whether it is or not.
