Ok, so you think that your Dad might not be your Dad, so you go find the guy who slept with your Mom and your grandmother, and before you can figure out if he's your Dad or not, you sleep with him. Not only does this not make ANY sense whatsoever, but Jennifer Anniston manages to turn a potentially interesting character (if it were in the hands of, say, Rachel Weisz) into a lesser version of Rachel Green, who was already a fairly 2-dimensional character. The only saving grace is Shirley MacLaine, who is unfortunately wonderfully underused, but it pretty much the only source of enjoyment throughout the entire film.
Why exactly did the graduate need a sequel anyway?
