Review of Rumble in the Bronx (1995) by Bill B — 28 Dec 2011
This film was my first introduction to the magic of Jackie Chan, and I have to say that it holds up pretty well on the re-watch, as this was before he went full on corny in the early 2000 era with all the kid-centric material that I have only been peripherally aware of due to my lack of interest in the kid-gloves style in which the trailers coached things.
Well worth a rental at the very least, or if it's on cable on a lazy afternoon? Don't get between me and the TV, okay?
