Review of Rumble in the Bronx (1995) by Jak-Luke S — 23 Jul 2017
Chan's breakout film showcases his talent that he's built an empire upon. His wonderfully strong charisma, likability and stunts which are a staple of his career are all on show. The film only really suffers with its terrible dubbing and struggles to blend both eastern and western genres with its storytelling, yet the humour and charm is rife and even if it's last act is flat out bizarre crazy, it's the start of something special.
