Review of Rumble Fish (1983) by Torkil M — 14 Jun 2008
Rumble fish is one of coppola's most underappreciated films. his 'art house for teens' film. I think it's one of his greatest. saw it in 83/84. read the book prior to seeing the film. I think it's a wonderful adaptation.
brilliant performances from an amazing cast. stewart copeland's score is just perfect for this film, or standalone. this film is an all-time favorite; makes me want to visit tulsa. the black and white photography of this film is glorious.
love it. love it. love it.
