Review of Rugrats in Paris: The Movie (2000) by Nicholas K — 13 Aug 2012
This is my favorite of the rugrats movies because chuckie is the lead character in the movie and it starts at grandpa lou's wedding to lulu and when all of chuckie's friends dance with their mothers, chuckie feels left out because his own mother passed away shortly after he was born and I grabbed a kleenex for that part.
anyhoo, the gang goes to paris where stu and chaz were hired to create a new crop of electronic critters for eurorepatarland, (a spoof of eurodisneyland), and I won't go into detail about the whole movie, there were very cute moments in the movie like the introduction kimmy and spike falling head over heels for a french poodle named fifi.
at the end of the movie, chuckie's father chaz marries kimmy's mother kira and chuckie finally has what he's always wanted, a mother and kimmy also became his sister. a huge cake fight at chaz and kira's wedding ends the movie.
the ending is my favorite part of this flick and to me, very heart warming. not saying the first rugrats movie is horrible, but it's alot better than the first one because other than the scene of chuckie seeing his friends dance with their mothers, there weren't that many moments in the flick that made me had tears rolling off my face.
all in all, very awesome and cute movie.
