Review of Rugrats in Paris: The Movie (2000) by Jonny P — 05 Aug 2015
I've never seen a mommy button before.
Chuckie's father is tired of being single and ready to find the love of his life. The rugrats take a trip to Paris with Chuckie's dad where he thinks he's found true love in an evil business woman. Chuckie tries to stop the relationship and help find his father the right woman to be his new mother.
"That's what you get for wiping your buggers on Cynthia.".
"So that's where I left them.".
Paul Demeyer and Stig Bergqvist, who collaborated for a few episodes of Duckman, collaborate again to delivers Rugrats in Paris. The storyline for this picture was below average and just okay. The animation style is standard Rugrats and nothing special. The voices fit the characters well.
"A potty that squirts you back!".
I added this to our Netflix queue as a movie I could watch with my daughter. This was very average, ordinary, and a bit awkward at times. I didn't feel this film really worked and I would recommend skipping it.
"I can't mother and merger at the same time.".
Grade: C-.
