Review of Rugrats Go Wild (2003) by Rebecca S — 24 Jul 2011
Messy animation and awkward crossover tropes combine with bland songs where the voices/lyrics don't really fit the music and a storyline that feels very made-for-TV to create Rugrats Go Wild. But it has Bruce Willis, horribly miscast as Spike the dog who Eliza Thornberry can hear because she can speak to animals.
On the plus side, it also has Tim Curry. Tim Curry is always good, no matter what he's in and I love Nigel Thornberry so much that I used to watch The Wild Thornberries even though it was shit. He's as great as ever in this film and manages to get it a whole extra point out of 10.
4/10.
