Review of Rudy (1993) by Ifiok O — 14 Apr 2010

The film's focus isn't so much about the football as it is about the title character's pursuit to make something of himself. Sean Astin's performance as Rudy proves to be quite enduring, and the story itself is inspiring to any underdog who has been told what he or she can or cannot do.

Of course comparison's to 'Rocky' and 'Hoosiers' will be expected, but nevertheless this is simply just a good movie that is inspiration to many underdogs who have dreamed, and despite the odds, fulfilled those dreams.
