Best sports movie ever. Own it and watch it every year. The odds of getting in the U of ND are extremely remote and, seemingly, even more impossible for Rudy & his limited credentials. But Rudy doesn't listen to the naysayers and doggedly pursues his singular ambition of playing for Notre Dame.
A true testament to the American Dream and what makes this country unique. Hope we can hang onto the dream that anything is uniquely possible in America if you're determined to achieve the seemingly impossible.
Stop listening to the people who you're a societal victim and reach down deep inside and go for it! That's what Rudy did. You have to want it. No one is going to hand it to you. Least of all government.
