It's undeniably sweet, cleverly written, and excellently acted, but while it has an all-too-familiar "man creates dream woman" formula and some occasional tonal shifts and jarring lags in pace, it, thanks to its refreshing take on the heavily clichéd, yet ever popular, rom-com genre, seldom disappoints, entertaining more than any of the indie rom-coms of 2012.
