Review of Ruby in Paradise (1993) by Lynnellevans — 17 Jun 2021
Roger Ebert’s film, Ruby in Paradise is his one of his best movies from the 90s. This film infuses you into its reality, sucking you in more and more with each problem Ruby faces. Not to mention the skill of Alex Vlacos, the cinematographer, who creates such beautiful shots that makes the audience believe they’re living with Ruby in Panama City.
I felt so connected with this movie straight from the first scene. I highly recommend this film to anyone who appreciates movies that make them leave them feeling nostalgic.
