Review of Rubber (2010) by Patrick Y — 16 Jul 2012
The second oddest movie I've seen (Southland Tales is number one). An offbeat soundtrack sets the tempo to this tale of a rubber tire's killing spree. The ridiculous moments are hilarious and the gore is well done, but any momentum this movie gains is left at home.
With such a largely head shaking premise it's no wonder that the payoff falls so flat.
