Review of Rubber (1936) by Adam E — 22 Oct 2011
I felt this could've had a better potential if there were a couple things cut out.
The beginning took a little while, as I didn't have too much. I thought it was kind of funny with the whole audience up until the unnecessary dialogue between everyone. The last 20 minutes could've been trimmed down with a few adjustments.
What I DIDN'T understand was the casting of Sheila, the woman who is pretty much useless and acts like a wannabe tough-ass flipping the finger to someone on the road. We don't see too much of her, BUT when we do, I thought she was a VERY HORRIBLE actress.
My final rating comes down to 3 stars altogether. The first 50 or so minutes were good, but then after, the dialogue got kind of messed up. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE messed up, but not that dull.
